‘No reason to fear’ for doctors office workers after shooting at a Trump hotel

In a press conference, Florida Gov.

Rick Scott called the shooting at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida “a tragic incident,” adding that the shooter was “a known and trusted member of the Florida state medical team.”

The press conference also included a photo of an officer standing over the body of a victim, identified by the AP as the victim’s mother.

“Our hearts are broken.

We do not fear this incident,” Scott said.

“We are not in mourning for this tragedy.”

“The shooter has been identified as Marla Cagle.

He has been arrested and will be brought to justice.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this woman and to the members of the Maracana Residence Hall and the Florida Medical Association,” Scott added.

The gunman, identified as Christopher Steele, was shot and killed by officers outside the hotel shortly after 8:30 p.m. local time (3:30 a.m., EDT) on Sunday.

In a statement on its website, Mar-A-Lago said in part, “We know that Mar-Lago is a very special place and we are committed to the safety and security of our guests, employees, and family members.”
